Making of Amla Pickle
Ingredients for Stew
Amla 1 cup
Salt to taste
For pickle powder
Fenugreek seeds - 3 tbsp
Asofadotia 1 tbsp
Red chilly 20
For Seasoning
Gingelly oil 6 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
Pickle Powder Grinding
Take a tawa and dry roast fenugreek, red chilli and asafoetida
Let it cool and grind it to a soft powder consistency
Amla Pickle Making
Cut the Amla into slices and remove the seeds
Take a tawa and add gingelly oil
When oil is hot add Amla in gingelly oil and saute well till the colour changes to light brown
Add the pickle powder into the sauteed amla and mix well
Add salt to taste and give a good mix
Add seasoning by heating gingelly oil with Mustard seeds
Enjoy the delicious Amla Pickle with Curd Rice !!!!
