Amla Pickle is a yummy recipe which is type of pickle which has tangy and spicy taste. Having with curd rice will be a divine taste.

Making of Amla Pickle


Ingredients for Stew


  1. Amla 1 cup

  2. Salt to taste


For pickle powder


  1. Fenugreek seeds - 3 tbsp

  2. Asofadotia 1 tbsp

  3. Red chilly 20


For Seasoning

  1. Gingelly oil 6 tbsp

  2. Mustard seeds 1 tbsp

Pickle Powder Grinding

  1. Take a tawa and dry roast fenugreek, red chilli and asafoetida

  2. Let it cool and grind it to a soft powder consistency


Amla Pickle Making


  1. Cut the Amla into slices and remove the seeds

  2. Take a tawa and add gingelly oil

  3. When oil is hot add Amla in gingelly oil and saute well till the colour changes to light brown

  4. Add the pickle powder into the sauteed amla and mix well

  5. Add salt to taste and give a good mix

  6. Add seasoning by heating gingelly oil with Mustard seeds


Enjoy the delicious Amla Pickle with Curd Rice !!!!
