Butter Naan



Butter Naan is one of the favourite food and this home made one came out well, soft and tasty. This recipe is made with whole maida (can have once in a while) and stove toasted. Butter Naan can be had with Palak Paneer (Paneer Home Made in 15 Minutes), Milky White Paneer Dip, Paneer Butter Masala etc.

Making of Butter Naan


Main Ingredients:

  1. Maida 2 cups

  2. Baking powder 1/2 tbsp

  3. Salt to taste

  4. Sugar to taste

  5. Little oil

  6. Milk 1/2 cup

  7. Water

Butter Naan making process

  1. Pour milk and make a soft dough and kneed it for 5 minutes

  2. Cover it with muslin cloth and keep it aside for 30 mins

  3. Make round portion of the dough

  4. Stretch it to oval shape

  5. Spread butter on one side and water on the other

  6. Place the naan over a hot tawa with water side facing on the tawa. Keep the stove on a low flame

  7. Let it be for a minute then toast the top side directly on flame using grill

  8. Toast it for a minute

  9. Butter Naan ready, spread some butter and serve hot
