Making of Gumbo Fried Rice
Main Ingredients:
Steamed rice 1 cup
Gumbo (Ladies finger, Okra) 1 cup
Ghee 1 tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Pepper powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric a pinch
Mustart 1 tbsp
Cumin seed 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Gumbo Fried Rice preparation
Take Gumbo(Ladies finger) and finely chop and keep it aside
Take a tawa and add 2 tbsp oil on a medium flame
Add cumin seed, mustard and let it pop out
Add finely chopped gumbo and saute
Add salt to taste, a pinch of turmeric and saute
Saute for 3-4 minutes till gumbo gets roasted
Roasted gumbo fry
Mixing Roasted Gumbo Fry with Steamed Rice
Take a tawa and add steamed rice, keep the stove on a medium flame
Add Gumbo and saute
Now add 1 tbsp ghee and give a good mix
Add 1 tbsp pepper powder and saute
Check the taste and add salt if required
Mix very well and Gumbo fried rice ready
