Milky White Macaroni

Milky White Macaroni is a delicious and all time favourite food. Prepared with home made milky white sauce which gives cheesy kind of consistency. Added with veggies like onion, capsicum and corn to give a healthy mixture of taste.   Food Type: Vegetarian

Making of Milky White Macroni

Main Ingredients:

  1. Pasta - 1 cup

  2. Onion 1 medium size finely chopped

  3. Capsicum 1 medium size finely chopped

  4. Corn 1 cup boiled

  5. Butter for white sauce 2 tbsp

  6. Maida or all purpose flour 1 tbsp

  7. Milk 1 cup

  8. Water as required

  9. Salt to taste

  10. Oregano

  11. Pepper powder 1 tbsp

  12. Oil for frying veggies

Backing Macroni

  1. Take a tawa and boil water

  2. When the water boil place the Macaroni into the boiling water

  3. Cover the lid and cook in medium flame for 10 minutes. Check the consistency of macaroni now and then.

  4. Pick one macaroni and check for the soft consistency

  5. If soft switch off the flame and drain Macaroni and keep it aside


Making Milky White Sauce


  1. Take a tawa and add butter - keep the stove in medium flame

  2. When butter gets melted add 1 tbsp maida or all purpose flour and whisk continuously so that no lumps formed by the flour

  3. When it gets a bit thicker and change colour start pouring the milk while whisking continuously

  4. Keep whisking till the mixture gets the consistency like sauce (should not be too thin or too thick). When its too thick add little water and whisk.

  5. Keep the stove in low flame, add oregano and salt to taste

  6. Switch off the flame and immediately transfer the Milky White Sauce to another bowel and keep it aside

Sauteing Veggies and Milky White Macaroni

  1. Take a tawa and add two tbsp oil. Keep the stove on a medium flame

  2. When oil gets hot, add onion and keep sauteing till onion gets translucent

  3. Add finely chopped capsicum and boiled corn and saute for few seconds

  4. Add salt and pepper, saute and keep the stove in low flame

  5. In the same tawa add Macroni and the Milky White Sauce and give a good mix

  6. Sprinkle some oregano and pepper and give a good mix. Switch off the flame


Serve hot and Enjoy the delicious Milky White Pasta and have a healthy food !!!!
