Palak Paneer


Palak Paneer is a standard recipe and a must have dish once a week. This recipe made with Paneer Home Made in 15 Minutes. This is a very delicious and healthy dish. Palak Paneer can be had with Chapati, Roti, Paratha etc.

Making of Palak Paneer



Main Ingredients:

  1. Palak 1 cup

  2. Onion 2 medium size

  3. Tomato 2 medium sized

  4. Ginger 1 inch

  5. Garlic 10 cloves

  6. Green Chilli

  7. Garam masala 1 tbsp

  8. Red chilli powder 1 tbsp

  9. Pepper powder 1 tbsp

  10. Turmeric a pinch

  11. Salt to taste

  12. Sugar to taste

  13. Coriander leaves

  14. Lemon juice

  15. Milky White Sauce (eNalabaag special)


Making the Palak Mix


  1. Wash palak with normal water and drain it

  2. Soak palak in ice cold water for 1 minute and drain it

  3. Add palak, green chilli, 1/2 inch ginger, salt to taste and grind it to a smooth paste

  4. Keep it aside





  1. Take a tawa and add oil on a medium ignited stove

  2. Add cumin seed and saute for few seconds

  3. Add roughly cut onion and saute till it gets translucent

  4. Now add ginger garlic paste, turmeric and saute till the aroma goes off

  5. Add roughly cut onion and saute till the side gets moisture with oil

  6. Add salt to taste and saute and leave it to cool for grinding





Grinding Onion tomato



Take a mixer grinder and add onion tomato mix and grind it to a smooth paste and keep it aside







Paneer Cubes butter fry


  • Take Paneer Home Made in 15 Minutes and cut it into cubes

  • Take a tawa and add 1 tbsp butter, keep the stove in low flame

  • Saute Paneer cubes for 2-3 minutes an keep it aside


Palak Paneer Final process


  1. Take a tawa and add 2 tbsp oil and keep the stove on a medium flame

  2. Now add the ground onion tomato mix and fry for 3-4 minutes

  3. Add the ground palak mix and fry for 3-4 minutes

  4. Add red chilli powder, pepper powder and garam masala powder and saute for 1 minute

  5. Check the taste and add salt to taste and sugar to taste and give a good mix

  6. Now add Milky White Sauce (eNalabaag special), make it thinly or add full cream and mix with palak masala and saute for 1 minute

  7. Add origano, mix and saute and switch off the flame

  8. Now add 1 tbsp of lemon juice and give a good mix(optional)

  9. Now add butter fried paneer cubes and give a good mix (since paneer is cooked no need to cook again with palak)


Enjoy the Palak Paneer with Roti or Jeera Rice !!!!
