Paneer Masala Dosa Bytes: Haha why Bytes? A large portion of dosa cut into small units to bite it, just for fun. A variety of dosa made it differently. Gold Ghee Roasted crispy dosa spread with Paneer Masala. A very delicious and yummy. This method add flavour to the regular way of preparing dosa and no need for a separate side dish to have it.

Making of Paneer Masala Dosa Bytes

Main Ingredients:

  1. Grated Paneer

  2. Gram Flour 2 tbsp dry roasted

  3. Onion 🧅 2 medium size

  4. Ginger 1 inch

  5. Garlic 🧄 5 cloves

  6. Cumin Seed

  7. Tomato 🍅 3 medium size

  8. Green chilli 2

  9. Red Chilli 🌶 powder 1 tbsp

  10. Turmeric a pinch

  11. Garam Masala powder 1 tbsp

  12. Pepper powder 1 tbsp

  13. Oil

  14. Ghee

  15. Salt 🧂 to taste

  16. Water 💦 as required

  17. Cornflour 1 tbsp

  18. Lemon 🍋 1/2


Preparing Paneer Masala Spread

Ground Paste

  1. Take Onions 🧅 , ginger, garlic 🧄, green chilli (skip green chilli for a less spicy version) and grind it to a smooth paste

  2. Take tomato 🍅 and grind it to a smooth paste


Paneer Masala Spread Making


  1. Take a tawa and place it on a stove with mildly ignited flame

  2. Drop 2 tbsp oil in the heating tawa and add 1 tbsp cumin seed and saute

  3. Now add onion 🧅 paste and saute till the aroma of ginger garlic goes off

  4. Now add tomato 🍅 paste and saute till sides of the masala gets moisture

  5. Now add the taste of spices, turmeric, red chilli 🌶 , garam masala powder, pepper powder and salt to taste and give a good mix and fry for 3 to 5 mints

  6. At this stage add 1 tbsp ghee and give a good mix

  7. If gravy is too thick add little water 💦

  8. Now add dry roasted gram flour for the aroma, add cornflour and mix well and saute for few seconds

  9. Add grated paneer to the masala, mix well and switch off the flame immediately (over frying after adding paneer will loose its softness)

  10. Squeeze half lemon 🍋 after take out from stove (if on flame after squeezing lemon 🍋 will make the dish bitter)

  11. Paneer spread ready


Paneer Masala Dosa Bytes for Bite!!!!

  1. Keep the stove on a medium flame

  2. Circle dosa flour on the dosa tawa

  3. Add butter 🧈 at this stage for a buttery flavour

  4. Spread the Paneer masala mix and fill it all over the dosa

  5. When dosa gets golden roasted consistency, fold the dosa and cut it with a knife or dosa spoon. No need to roast the other side of dosa.
