Spicy Chilli Masala is a tasty dish which can be used as a pickle or for parathas. A spicy delight with a tangy taste is an added flavour for the recipe.

Making of Spicy Chilli Masala


Main Ingredients:

  1. Green Chilli 1 cup

  2. Mustard seeds 2 tbsp

  3. Fenel seeds 2 tbsp

  4. Cumin seed 1 tbsp

  5. Black Cumin seed 1 tbsp

  6. Turmeric powder a pinch

  7. Ajwain 1 tbsp

  8. Hing 1/4 tbsp

  9. Salt to taste

  10. Mustered Oil or Oil 1/4 cup

  11. Vinegar or lemon juice 2 tbsp


Stir frying Spicy Chilli Masala

  1. Take a tawa and add Mustard oil or oil and heat it on a medium flame

  2. Add 1 tbsp mustard seed and let it pop

  3. Now add fennel, fenugreek, cumin seed, black cumin seed and fry for 30 seconds

  4. Now add green chillies, add salt to taste and stir fry on a medium flame for about 2 minutes

  5. Add turmeric, hig, salt, 1 tbsp mustard, fennel and ajwain powder and give a good mix

  6. Now add 2 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice and saute for 1 minute and switch off the flame


Enjoy the Spicy Chilli Masala with parata or roti along with curd !!!!
