Stuffed Chapatti Roll

Stuffed Chapatti Roll with Panner masala is one of the important and healthy food which has got healthy ingredients and a filling snack for school going kids.


Making of Stuffed Chapatti Roll

Ingredients for making Chapatti:


  1. Wheat floor 4 cups

  2. Water as required

  3. Oil as required

  4. Salt to taste


Ingredients for panner stuff:


  1. Paneer shreadded 1 cup

  2. Finely chopped Onion 2 medium size

  3. Finely chopped Tomato 2 small size

  4. Finely chopped Capsicum medium size

  5. Ginger 1 inch

  6. Garlic 4 to 5 cloves

  7. Green Chilli

  8. Red chilli powder

  9. Garam masala powder

  10. Dhania powder

  11. Turmeric powder

  12. Salt to taste

  13. Oil

  14. Mustard seeds


Chapatti Making


  1. Take a tawa and add chapatti floor, add salt, add oil, add required amount of water and kneed the chapatti firmly

  2. Make round balls with chapatti floor and cover and keep it asid


Panner Masala stuff making


  1. Grind the ginger garlic in a mixer grinder for a smooth paste and keep it ready

  2. Keep tawa on a stove flame, add oil and put mustard seeds and let it gets pops out.

  3. Once mustard seeds pops out add finely chopped onion and add little salt and fry for sometime. Adding salt at this stage will make the onion gets translusent faster.

  4. Once onion becomes translucent, add ginger garlic paste and saute till the aroma of ginger garlic paste gets settled.

  5. Add tomato and fry for sometime till the tomato becomes soft

  6. Once tomato becomes soft add sliced green chilli and fry for some time

  7. Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, dhania powder and red chilli powder and mix well with tomato and fry for 2 to 3 minutes

  8. Now add capsicum and fry for 2 minutes, adding capsicum at this stage will retain its cryspiness.

  9. Add salt to taste and check the taste, if required add masala powders

  10. Finally add the shreadded panner and mix well with the other ingredients and saute for 1 minute in a low flame. Dont overfry the panner it becomes hard if overfried


Stuff Chapatti with Panner Masala


  1. Take the chappati balls make it as round shaped to toast it

  2. Take the dosa making tawa and toast it two sides

  3. On the toasted chapatti spread the Panner masala and roll the chapati

  4. Do this for the remaining chapattis


Stuffed Chapatti Roll with Panner masala Ready and serve hot
